      The XI International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic World was held in Baku. The event was organized by Baku Eurasian University in cooperation with the Turkish Niide Omer Halisdemir University and the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University.

      At the opening ceremony, Rector of Baku Eurasian University, Professor Nazim Huseynli welcomed the participants of the event and wished success to the symposium, the main theme of which is "The goals of the Turkic world for 2040 and the Organization of Turkic-speaking states."

                                                  

      In his speech, Zakir Dzhumakulov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation of QyzPU, noted that the symposium will make an invaluable contribution to the cultural and spiritual rapprochement of fraternal countries. "The traditional festival "Kökümüz bir, turkük", organized within the framework of the symposium, is an important event aimed at strengthening friendship and relations between the Turkic states, instilling in our youth a sense of Turkic heritage. We are confident that our research will leave an immeasurable legacy for the future of the Turkic world," said the Vice–rector.

                                                                                

      The purpose of the International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic World is to bring together scientists and intellectuals of the Turkic world to discuss topical issues in the field of language, literature, history, philosophy, science, education, culture, economics, international relations and other fields.

      New research topics were also discussed, and participants exchanged ideas on areas and preparation of joint projects. The heads of foreign universities noted that the symposium will stimulate new approaches, joint research and mutual integration between the Turkic peoples.
