The President conferred the state award "Ерен еңбегі үшін" on Professor QYZPU

  President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conferred the state award ""Ерен еңбегі үшін"" on Professor Rysbek Baimakhan of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, but the scientist did not manage to receive it during his lifetime. Just two days before flying to Astana for the award ceremony, the professor died of a prolonged illness in hospital.

  The award was presented to his son Aidar Rysbekuly and to his widow Kanysha Baimakhanova. The ceremony of handing over the medal to the family of the late professor was held today at the Mukhtar Auezov Institute of Literature and Art. During the ceremony of handing over the medal the professor's wife cried.

                                                                                                                                                             

  "He was supposed to receive a medal for labor distinction himself, but he didn't have time. On October 27th he passed away... He worked very hard in the name of science. I express huge gratitude to the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Minister of Science and Higher Education for appreciating the works of my husband. Thank you very much! Let the medal will remain in memory of our father to our children" - said the wife of Professor Rysbek Baimakhan.

  Recall, Professor of the Department of Physics, Doctor of Technical Sciences Baimakhan Rysbek Baimakhanuly passed away at the age of 71 years. Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Qanay on behalf of herself and the staff expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
