"I miss my homeland!" Granddaughter of Mukhtar Auezov visited the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University



    • The granddaughter of the famous writer, classic of Kazakh literature, one of the first playwrights of the country and scientist Zifa-Alua Auezov specially flew from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan to visit the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, the opening of which was supported by Mukhtar Auezov in 1944.

      Continuing the traditions of the great family, the scientist met with the teaching staff, as well as with doctoral, master's and undergraduate students of the Kazakh Literature Department. At the meeting, they discussed issues of artistic translation and literary communication. Zifa-Alua Auezova read Abay's works in English, which she herself translated and conducted a small survey of students.

                                                             

      At the end of the meeting candidate of philological sciences Zifa-Alua Auezova gave her blessing to the students and the whole staff of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
