Nazarbayev Scholarship for Master`s programs students

  Acceptance of documents for participation in the republican competition for the award of a scholarship by Kazakhstan's First President, N.A. Nazarbayev, among second-year graduate students.

  Graduates in their second year of full-time study who meet the following conditions are eligible for the scholarship:

  1. obtaining outstanding grades for the entire term of study (A, A-);
  2. a high academic score (GPA);
  3. if GPA scores are identical, the following specific achievements are considered, listed in decreasing order of importance:

  • the number of publications relating to the profile of the chosen master's program;
  • participation in scientific conferences, projects, the availability of patents, certifications, diplomas, and certificates;
  • participation in community service.

  To enter this competition, you must submit the following documents:

  • a completed version of the questionnaire;
  • a resume (CV);
  • excellent grades for the entire period of study (copies of transcripts);
  • research work (list of scientific papers);
  • information about active participation in the University's public life.

  By August 8, 2023, candidate materials (questionnaire, CV (in two languages), photo) must be submitted electronically to sciencedepartment@qyzpu.edu.kz.

  Additional Information:

  • A copy of the questionnaire is filled out in two languages;
  • Each undergraduate's photo should be sent electronically in *jpg format. The photo must match the following criteria:
  • Image in color that was created within the previous six months and corresponds to how the undergraduate currently appears.
  • The facial expression should be neutral, and the eyes should be open.
  • Clothing entering the frame must be appropriate work attire.
