    • Dance ensemble «Tomiris» is the winner of the international competition

      Dance ensemble «Tomiris» of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University became the winner of the international dance festival «Online Wave» in Spain.

      The European organization «Fiestalonia Milenio» was the initiator of the global competition. Ensembles and individual creative teams from universities around the world took part in the art competition, which aims to identify talented young people and develop their creative abilities by attracting them to the noble art, and competed in several categories.

      In the first round of the two-stage festival, the group«Tomiris» performed the dance «Sylkyldak», and in the second round, the dance «Orteke» performed by a member of the ensemble Dariya Mukhitova.

      The total duration of the two choreographic compositions is 5 minutes. The competition was judged by world-renowned artists.

      During the competition, art groups were evaluated on professional and artistic performance skills, stage culture, originality of dance composition and artistic value of the work. The relevance of musical materials, the authenticity of the national bases of dance and the harmony of national styles were also taken into account.

      - Today's followers of SharaZhienkulova, known as the «Queen of the Kazakh dance art», the ensemble «Tomiris» of the Women's University, fully demonstrated their skills during the competition and appeared on the podium. This is a clear result of the work of girls who, through their art, skillfully demonstrated their place and influence in the life of dance, - says the artistic director of the ensemble Medet Agabylov.

      According to the results of the competition, Dariya Mukhitova's art was highly appreciated by the jury and was awarded the first place. He was awarded a special diploma of the European organization «Fiestalonia Milenio».

      The «Online Wave» international creative competition has been held for 16 years. This year young talents from 37 countries took part in the competition.
