      A representative of the University of Cambridge, Dr. Thomas Hariott, conducts a number of events at the university

      From October 27 to November 3, 2022, Dr. Thomas Harriott, a representative of the University of Cambridge, conducts educational seminars and expert work on the development of academic programs.

      On the first day of the seminar, Dr. Thomas Hariott was at a reception with the Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay. During the seminars, Dr. Thomas Hariott made sessions on the topics "Research experience in the UK", "Teacher training system in the UK: undergraduate and Graduate level", "Design and development of academic programs in the UK", "Action research and Lesson plan in Education", "Teaching Chemistry: International experience" for teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. During the sessions, students exchanged views with the leaders of educational programs, faculty and students.

      Also, within the framework of the expert's visit, the Department for the Development of academic programs of the university together with Abai university, Atyrau and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools are examining the MEd programmes.
