      ALMATY. JUNE 11. PRESS CENTER - A group of graduates of the Kazakh National Women Teacher Training University's Philology Department reunited after 40 years at the university in 1982.

      In 1977 25 girls who entered the university's Philological Faculty and lived in rooms 13,-18,107-112 of the dormitory on Michurin Street, 15, at that time graduated in 1982, carried their dreams to different regions of the country, got jobs as teachers and went their way.

      Only five or six girls in the group actively socialized and had close relationships. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the meeting, this active group among them found and contacted all of the missing 25 girls by searching social media, communications, and even a database of retirees for 7-8 months.

      Collecting all the information about the life path of each was issued a commemorative booklet titled "Meeting after 40 years.  And life. And tears. And love...".

      According to the information in the booklet, graduates, who graduated 40 years ago, lived, grew up, and worked in Oral, Aktobe, Atyrau, Oskemen, Shymkent, Taraz, Zhezkazgan, Pavlodar, Astana, Almaty, as well as from Northern Kazakhstan, Karaganda region. Among them are those who have devoted their lives to teaching for 40 years, were school directors, and continue to work as teachers even after retirement. In addition, some went into business, eventually changed their profession, and became Honored Artists of Kazakhstan, law enforcement officers with the rank of police major.

      - Unfortunately, five of our classmates passed away. We keep in touch with their children. We sent our published books by mail. Each page contains essays written by our girls about themselves and dedications to them. We are very grateful to our alma mater, the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, which prepared us for a great life. We, who were educated during Soviet times, are happy that our country has gained its independence and that our institution of higher learning has achieved "national" status. We're sure our future will be bright! - said Lyaila Agazhayeva, organizer of the meeting and compiler of the commemorative book.

      Those who came to the reunion thanked teachers and administrators who have enriched their knowledge and educated them, through whom they formed as professionals and found their way through life, and for their faithful service to the entire staff of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and wished them health, abundance, and happiness. Having come from different regions of Kazakhstan, they presented an illustrated album with information about their region to the university library and gave it to Mrs. Elenora, the head of the Russian language department.

      P/S We hope that the lifeway and achievements of the graduates who graduated from QyzPU 40 years ago and who have not forgotten about their educational institution, teachers will become an example for this year's graduates!
