      Speaker: Lynn Paine is a professor of teacher education, a member of the WALS board of trustees, an adjunct professor of sociology, and a member of the Center for Gender in Global Context. Her work focuses on comparative and international education, as well as the sociology of education, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between educational policy and practice, the role of education in social change, and issues of inequality and diversity.
