The Republican student subject Olympiad on the educational program 6B03101 – «Sociology» will be held on the basis of QyzPU

  The Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University announces the holding of the Republican Student subject Olympiad on the educational program «6B03101 – Sociology» on May 3, 2024.

  The Republican student subject Olympiad is attended by university students of only 2-3 full-time bachelor's degree courses in the educational program «6B03101 – Sociology». A prerequisite is the compliance of the participating students with their declared specialty.

  The Republican student subject Olympiad on the educational program "6B03101 - Sociology" is held in 2 rounds:

  Round 1

  • Greeting in the form of a video clip on one of the topics: «Sociology as a prism: a look at social problems through a sociological perspective», «Sociology and social change: studying the role of sociologists in shaping the future». The maximum duration of the video is 2-3 minutes.

  Round 2

  • Presentation of the results of his sociological research, conclusions and recommendations. The teams present a prepared project in which they draw the public's attention to the most pressing social problems and ways to solve them based on the analysis of primary/secondary empirical data. The project can be carried out by a team of up to 3 students, in compliance with all methodological requirements for sociological research. The duration of the performance is up to 7 minutes.

  Attention! The application for participation and the video must be sent by e-mail nkarazhan@gmail.com later than April 26, 2024: In the «Topic» line, specify the «Sociology Olympiad» and the name of the university.

  The winners of the republican Olympiad, who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places, are awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degrees.
