  Qualification standards:

  - Associate professor (also known as associate professor): higher (or postgraduate) education; the availability of an academic degree in the field such as a doctorate in science, doctor of philosophy, doctor of science, or doctorate in philosophy; and the academic title of professor. At least five (five) years of experience in scientific and instructional activities related to the specialty. Conformity with ORK 8's "Teacher" professional standard - Qualification level (sublevels 8.1; 8.2).

  - Senior lecturer: Postgraduate or higher education; PhD degrees available; Doctor of Sciences, PhD degrees in the subject; academic doctorates (Doctor of Philosophy) or Master of Science degrees available. At least three (3) years of experience in scientific and pedagogical activities or in a related specialization, including at least one year of teaching experience or at least five (5) years of hands-on work experience in a specialty (profile of activity). Adherence to the professional standard "Teacher" - ORK 7 (sublevels 7.1; 7.2) or 8 (sublevels 8.1; 8.2) qualification level.

  - Teacher: Possessing an academic Master of Science degree or pursuing postgraduate or higher education (expert). Practical work experience in the specialty is preferred, without giving requirements for work experience (profile of activity). Conformity with ORK 7's "Teacher" professional standard - Qualification level (sublevels 7.1; 7.2).

  List of required documents:

  Candidates who want to enter the competition must submit an application (Appendix 1) with the following documents attached to the Chairman of the Board-Rector:

  • Personal record sheet;

  • Autobiography (Appendix 2);
  • candidate's questionnaire (Appendix 4);
  • copies of diplomas of higher education, and academic degrees, a document of academic rank and originals for verification (notarized);
  • copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any), a certificate of the results of the international language exams for the level of foreign language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/FCE) and originals for verification (notarized);
  • the list of scientific works and inventions (if any) published during the period preceding the competition, signed by the applicant, certified by the Program Leader and the Scientific Secretary of the Scientific Council of the Society;
  • medical certificate in the form 075/y, approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020 No. KR DSM-175/2020. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2020 No. 21579;
  • certificate of the presence or absence of information about the commission of a criminal offense: murder, intentional harm to health, against public health and morality, sexual integrity, extremist or terrorist crimes, human trafficking;
  • certificate of the presence or absence of information about the commission of a corruption crime (for persons applying for a position related to the performance of managerial functions);

  For full-time employees participating in the competition:

  • the completed Questionnaires are submitted for consideration to the Program Leader for the accuracy of the information.
  • Based on the results of the review, taking into account the identified comments and the adjustments made, the program leaders approve the Questionnaires.
  • The program leader, in order to evaluate the activities of full-time teaching staff participating in the competition, with the involvement of three leading specialists of the department, fill out a "Questionnaire for evaluating the activities of a teacher (Appendix 5);

  !!! The competition's document submission deadline is February 10, 2024.

  !!! The Competition Commission is authorized to ask for more details on the competition participant's professional activities (KPI results, traits, etc.).
