      Subject Olympiad in English will be held

      ALMATY. February 28. Press center – To know many languages is one of the ways to become a leader. In this connection, we are happy to announce that a subject Olympiad in Enlish will be held among students of QyzPU.

      The Olympiad is organized for the development of competitive, cognitive, and creative abilities of students and will consist of 2 stages:

      •  STAGE I (qualifying) – a lexical-grammatical test in the subject, work with an

      audio text.

      Date: 28.02

      Time: 10.00

      1.1. Listening section. (30 minutes).

      1.2. Reading section. (30 min.)

      1.3. Writing section (40 min.)

      Time for completing the tasks: 1 hour and 40 minutes.

       

      •  STAGE II (defining) – students who achieve the score of 80% in the Stage I will

      participate in this stage.

      Date: 02.03

      Time: 10.00

      2.1 Speaking (choose topics, answer the given questions orally).

       

      P.S.: 1st-year students of all non-language specialties of QyzPU University and students of Almaty State Business College may participate in the Olympiad.

      Winners and prizewinners will be awarded diplomas and special prizes.
