QyzPU & ENU: Cooperation between universities will be strengthened

  ALMATY. FEBRUARY 16. PRESS CENTER – Cooperation between national universities will be strengthened. This was announced during the meeting of Gulmira Qanay, the Chair of the Managing board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, with Akerke Abylaykhan, Advisor to the Rector of the L. Gumilyov ENU.

  During the meeting, the parties discussed such issues as cooperation in the field of education, the performance of joint scientific research. They also considered mechanisms to improve cooperation between the two universities in other areas.

  – Today the Eurasian National University is one of the leading classical universities of Kazakhstan. Currently, the university has 28 scientific departments that conduct research in the natural-technical and socio-humanitarian fields. The main direction of research is the solution of fundamental science, the priority directions of socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main mission of the University is to educate a competitive individual capable of serving the state and society. To achieve this goal, we intend to establish close relations with your university, – said a representative of the ENU.

  In turn, the Rector of QyzPU Gulmira Qanay told about the current state of the 80-year-old pedagogical educational institution and shared her plans. She also noted the main issues that must be resolved in the preparation of quality teachers.

  At the end of the meeting, the guests visited the university museum «Aqtumar» and the art gallery «ArtDara». The delegation of the ENU became acquainted with the history of the university and with the works of teachers and students.
