ALMATY. FEBRUARY 15. PRESS CENTER – Dear friends, we would like to inform you that Latvia has begun accepting applications for state scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.
According to bilateral agreements on cooperation in education and science between the Latvian government and several countries, the country will provide scholarships for foreign students, researchers, and teachers to study and participate in summer schools at higher educational institutions (HEIs) in the 2022-2023 academic year. The Latvian Ministry of Education and Science has delegated the administration of the Latvian state scholarships to the State Education Development Agency (Valsts izglitibas attistibas agentura - VIAA)
It should be noted that applications for research scholarships will not be announced in 2022.
