Students were introduced to the European education system

  ALMATY. FEBRUARY 7. PRESS CENTER – University students improved their knowledge at the Higher School of Information Systems Management at Riga Technical University as part of an academic mobility program. Students from the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, and Digital Computing had the opportunity for one semester to get acquainted with the educational system based on European educational standards.

  Here are the opinions of 3rd-year students of the «Informatics» educational program about the possibility of the academic mobility program.

   

  

  Aruzhan ESTORE

  A 3rd -year student of the the specialty «6B01506 – Informatics»:

  «I think that the academic mobility program is a great platform for practice. Thanks to this program we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the foreign educational system, the culture of other nations, to improve our outlook on life. I think the most important thing is that we updated our views and were inspired by new ideas in the educational system in our country. Thank you, my university for providing such an opportunity».

   

  

  Gulsara ZHAIBERGENOVA

  3rd-year student of the specialty «6B01506 – Informatics»:

  «Studying abroad is a new experience. Another method of study gave me a great opportunity to improve my skills and abilities, to increase my competitiveness. Getting to know a new culture, history, and language is a special feeling».

   

  

  Zhannur ZHUMABEKOVA

  A 3rd-year student of the specialty «6B01506 – Informatics»:

  «Thanks to my beloved university for organizing the academic mobility program! Through this program, I learned how to improve my practical skills, increase my level of self-education and provide continuous learning».

  A 3rd-year student of the specialty «6B01506 – Informatics»:

  «I think that academic mobility is a world of opportunities. It opens the way for students to self-development, new perspectives. I would like to thank the University administration for this opportunity».

  3rd-year student of the specialty «6B01506 – Informatics»:

  «Everyone always has the opportunity to learn and develop. I am very glad that I have such a possibility thanks to QyzPU. I believe that if we use our knowledge for the benefit of our country, all the expectations imposed on us will be justified».

   

  P.S.: This academic year, 17 students of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University received the opportunity to study in fundamental foreign universities under the programs of academic mobility and dual degree diploma.

  In particular, students of specialty "Informatics" studied at the Latvian Higher School of Information Systems Management and, students and masters of specialty "Foreign language: two foreign languages", "Translation studies" at the University of Silesia, Poland, students of specialties "Chemistry", "Biology", "Geography" will improve their skills in academic mobility programs and dual degree programs at the Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, Turkey. 

  It is worth noting that today the university has more than 70 international agreements with foreign universities.

  To implement the academic mobility program signed agreements with nine universities around the world. Among them are leading universities in the United States, Turkey, France, Great Britain, Poland, South Korea, and Russia.

  In order to develop internationalization, our university implements dual degree diploma programs with Mississippi Valley State University in the USA, Silesian University in Poland, and Tomsk Polytechnic University in Russia.
