Rector awarded the best teachers

  ALMATY. FEBRUARY 3. PRESS CENTER – Gulmira Qanay, the Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the University congratulated the winners of the contest «The Best Teacher of the University».

  This year 718 candidates from 76 universities took part in the Republican contest, and 150 of them became winners. Among the best were two teachers of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University: candidate of technical sciences Gulnaz Salgaraeva and candidate of philological sciences Lira Ibrayimova.

  – You make a significant contribution to the implementation of responsible work in the field of quality education, meaningful education of the younger generation, and the development of domestic science. The teacher is the most prestigious profession in the world. Today, respect and care for teachers is a national principle and an important part of state policy in Kazakhstan. I sincerely congratulate you on these achievements and thank you for your great contribution to the development of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and your contribution to the training of specialists, – said Gulmira Qanay.

  In her speech, the head of the university noted that the state is systematically working to improve the quality of education and support science.

  It is worth noting that each winner of the traditional contest will receive a prize of 2,000 MCI. This is about 6 million tenge.

  In addition to financial incentives, the winners of the contest «The Best Teacher of the University – 2021» were awarded a breastplate. Yesterday the Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov presented them to teachers. He said that the quality of works submitted to the competition last year was much higher, the average score increased by 15-20 points.

  – The contest is held annually to raise the prestige of teachers and encourage them to further professional development. For the first time this year, the traditional competition was held on the basis of the information system of the Ministry of Education and Science, which allowed participants to control the transparency of all stages. Applications and documents for the competition «The Best Teacher of the University – 2021» were also accepted in electronic format. This ensured the transparency of the competition, – said Zhandar Asan, Director of the University Communications and Marketing Department.
