      30.11.2021

      АLMATY

      – Cooperation with the brotherly country will increase. General Consul of Turkey in Almaty Ali Riza Akinci paid a special visit to the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. The diplomat met with the Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay to discuss mechanisms for enhancing cooperation.

      FINLAND

      – Erkin Zhumankulova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University and Mariya Kabysheva, a specialist of the Department of Science and Postgraduate Education, trained at the University of Education and Science of Finland. The event was held under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev University «Teacher training to strengthen the capacity of pedagogical education».

      FINLAND

      – Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University has signed a tripartite memorandum of cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences JAMK and the University of Applied Sciences HAMK. The document provides for cooperation in academic, administrative and educational matters, professional development and degree programs, mutual cooperation in the implementation of research projects and programs.

      – «Why did i choose the profession of a teacher?» With this name today the third regional workshop with the winners of the national award «Teacher of Kazakhstan» was held at the University. The meeting, organized by the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, the foundation for the development of public projects and the «GL Talimger» educational center, was opened with welcoming words by the Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the university Gulmira Qanay and spoke about the importance of such an initiative.

      – University student defends the honor of the country in world competitions! Laura Kabulbekova, a first-year student of the university, plays for the women's national team of Kazakhstan at the Asian Beach Volleyball Championship in Phuket, Thailand.

      – What are the innovations in modern preschool education? What are the vectors of its development? In order to find answers to these questions, the University held an international conference. School teachers, education managers and university teaching staff took part in the online meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence to discuss the development of preschool education and  summarize the existing experience.

      – On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, a number of teachers and employees of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University were awarded the badge of the trade union. The awards were presented by the Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay.

      – The fight against corruption is one of the main activities of our University. Eliminating corruption and maintaining academic integrity at the university is moving in a new direction. In this case, the student community also contributes. This problem was  discussed at the youth forum dedicated to the International Day against Corruption.

      – The Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University Gulmira Qanay met with the winners of the Paralympic Games. The meeting was attended by the champion of the European Championship in para-taekwondo, master of sports of Kazakhstan Kamilya Dosmalova, winner of the Paralympic Spartakiad of Kazakhstan, para-taekwondo fighter Nurbek Zhumakan and honored coach of Kazakhstan, a pupil of the famous athlete Mustaf Ozturk, taekwondo fighter Sultanmakhmut Shokbytov.

For our university, which has a history of about 80 years, 2021 has become a year of significant news and events.  What work has been done at the university this year? What innovations have been introduced? What are our plans for the  teachers’s training? These and other questions were answered in detail in an interview with several leading nationwide media by the director of the department of communications and marketing of the university Zhandar Asan.
