Gulmira Qanay: «Girls have an important place in the case of upbringing of children»

  BISHKEK. November 22. Press center – «A woman rocks a cradle one hand, turns the world around with another hand». This noble statement from the oral folk art of Kazakhstan nation will allow us to fully unleash the potential of women in our country, paying tribute to the protection of women's rights and the improvement of their social status».

  This was announced by the Chair of the Board – Rector of the University Gulmira Qanay at the republican forum of mothers «Anaga tagzym».

  The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence and was organized in the historical and ethno-cultural complex «Kone Taraz» in the same city.

  It was attended by women, famous representatives of them, women with multiple children who contribute to the development of socio-economic development of the country, culture, sports, business, education and science.

  At the opening of the forum, Akim of Zhambyl region Berdibek Saparbayev read a welcome letter from the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev.

  The head of the region noted that the center "Anaga tagzym", which was recently built in Taraz, taking into account the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, will be aimed at strengthening the role of women in the family, and in the upbringing of expectant mothers.

  - I think that today's forum "Anaga tagzym" will become the personification of beauty and goodness, and will also serve as a basis for the development of our country as a whole, will serve the formation of a woman of the XXI century, - said Berdibek Saparbayev.

  The Chairman of the Republican Council of Mothers of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nazipa Shanai said a welcoming speech.

  A public figure, defender of the state language Asyli Osman also spoke on the topic of educating generations.

  Then the poet, the winner of the State Prize Akushtap Baktygereeva, the rector of the Kazakh national  women's teacher training university Gulmira Qanay, the famous ethnodesigner, the founder of the Design House "Altyn Orda" Yrza Tursynzada, the deputy akim of Atyrau region Bakhytgul Khamenova and others spoke.

  During the meeting, the head of the University said a number of specific proposals for the effective implementation of gender policy in Kazakhstan, and further increasing the role and influence of women.

  The head of the region Berdibek Saparbayev noted that all the proposals will be taken into account.

  The Director of the “Ana Tagzim” Center, Ms. Elmira Myrza-Gali, read out the final address of the forum. The work of the forum continued in four sections, ended with a poetic evening of "Confession to my little sister".
