      Rector of the University paid tribute to the older generation

      ALMATY. October 28. Press center – The Chair of the Managing Board – Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Gulmira Qanay, met with the participants of the December events and paid tribute to them.

      At a meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's independence «30 years: Independence. Freedom. Equality», the head of the university expressed her best wishes to the senior generation and congratulated them on the holiday.

      – Well-being is the real happiness of a person, independence is the only happiness of the people. This is a quote from the famous Mahatma Gandhi, who brought sovereignty and freedom to his homeland not by force, but by peaceful means. Indeed, independence and equality, freedom and the country are precious concepts for any nation. Your contribution to the independence of Kazakhstan is significant, – said Gulmira Qanay.

      In turn, the chairman of the public association «December Uprising» Myrzagul Abdikulov, a member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, writer Bolat Sharakhymbay and deputy director of the newspaper « Qazaqstan Dauiri» Zhanbakyt Borantayev thanked the head of the University and wished her success.
