Acceptance of documents for admission to the master's program will begin on November 1

  ALMATY. October 27. Press center – On November 1, the reception of documents for the second comprehensive test for a master's degree will begin. 

  The Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov announced the decision to enter the masters and doctoral programs on his social media pages. Now enrollment is held twice a year. The competition is open to applicants who have not been able to apply for a grant in the summer, as well as those who have not previously passed the comprehensive test.

  “When making such important decisions, the ministry always puts the interests of students first. Earlier, the Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov said that applicants for state grants can be tested twice a year, traditionally – in the summer and additional winter. Now entrants can apply for the second comprehensive test, which will be held from November 1 to enter the master's program. In case of successful completion of the test, candidates will be able to win grants allocated for enrollment in the summer,” – said Kuanysh Ergaliyev, Vice Minister of Education and Science.

  Now let's talk about registration for the exam, the number of grants in the specialty.

  Registration for participation in the second complex testing is held on the website of the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan app.testcenter.kz (http://app.testcenter.kz/). Acceptance of documents will take place from 1 to 15 November 2021. Comprehensive testing will be held from November 18 to December 11, 2021.

  Candidates for a master's degree traditionally take a test on a foreign language, the profile of the group of educational programs, and the readiness to study. Persons with an international certificate confirming the knowledge of a foreign language are automatically exempted from testing in a foreign language. Test results can be found immediately after testing. In case of disagreement with the results, participants can apply online 30 minutes after the end of the exam. 

  It should be noted that the threshold score for admission to the scientific and pedagogical master's degree on the state educational order and a paid basis is 75 points, for admission to the profile master's degree - 50 points.

  Applications for participation in the competition for educational grants for master's degrees are accepted until December 25, 2021. Admission to the master's program will take place from December 26 to January 10, 2021. 

  In total, more than 3,000 applicants for master's degrees can apply for state educational grants.

  The largest number of grants in the specialty "Chemistry" (172 grants), "Veterinary" (169), "Mechanics and Metalworking" (156), "Metallurgical Engineering" (137), "Manufacture of building materials, products and structures" (132 grants) ), "Materials Science and Technology of New Materials" (130) and other specialties.
