  – University lecturers will be involved in preparing the leading educational program. The “Advanced training of teachers to strengthen the potential of teacher education” programme has started in the capital today. The event co-organized with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University and the Häme University of Applied Sciences will be held from 27 September to 8 October.

  – More than 11 thousand Kazakhstanis who studied abroad were transferred to Kazakhstani universities in 2021. Most of them are students from Russian universities. Some students previously studied at universities in the USA, China, France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, but decided to continue their studies in Kazakhstan.

  – 173 teachers vying for the title of “Best Teacher” in 2021. The Republican Commission is already working to select the best of the best. On the eve of the professional holiday, more than fifty teachers from different parts of the country will receive the title of “Best teacher”.

  – Kazakhstani vaccine «QazVac» effectively protects against variant «Delta». These are the results of research carried out by employees of the Scientific Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Scientists conducted a neutralization reaction test, which showed a high level of antibodies in those vaccinated with the domestic vaccine «QazVac». Virus-neutralizing antibodies were detected in more than 90% of the volunteers who took part in clinical trials.

  – The number of talented students at the university is increasing. This year, 183 holders of the «Altyn Belgi» and 203 holders of the badges of honor were enrolled in the university. This indicator is several times higher than in the previous year.
