173 teachers vying for the title of «Best Teacher» in 2021

  NUR-SULTAN. September 27. Press center – 173 teachers vying for the title of «Best Teacher» in 2021. The Republican Commission is already working to select the best of the best. On the eve of the professional holiday, more than fifty teachers from different parts of the country will receive the title of «Best teacher».

  Among the participants in the large-scale competition – 132 teachers of preschool and secondary education, 41 teachers of technical and vocational education. All of them are presented based on the results of the district, city, and regional rounds.

  - Since last year, applications, materials for participation in the competition are accepted in electronic format. Teachers who work in educational institutions and have continuous teaching experience of at least five years at the time of submission of documents can apply for the title of "Best Teacher". Within the framework of the competition, the teacher's contribution to the development of education, the effectiveness of the teacher's activities and his professional skills will be taken into account, - said Gulmira Karimova, chair of the Preschool and Secondary Education Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  The Republican Competition Commission includes representatives of public associations, non-governmental organizations, parental community, NPP "Atameken", journalists, active teachers, representatives of the Kazakhstan branch trade union of workers of education and science, etc.

  Note that the republican competition "Best teacher" has been held since 2012. During this time, about 500 teachers of preschool and secondary, technical, and vocational education were awarded within the framework of the competition.

  Holders of the title "Best Teacher" will receive a badge and a cash reward of 3 million tenge (1000 MNU).

  In addition to the republican award, within the framework of the law "On the status of a teacher", the administration of the mayor of the region has established local awards with one-time cash payments. For example, in the Pavlodar region, the winners of the regional competition received awards in the amount of 300 MNU. In the East Kazakhstan region - in the amount of more than 800 thousand tenge from the local budget. In other regions, the best teachers also received a one-time cash reward of 300 MNU.
