More than 11 thousand students transferred to Kazakhstani universities

   NUR-SULTAN. September 27. Press center – More than 11 thousand Kazakhstanis who studied abroad were transferred to Kazakhstani universities in 2021. Most of them are students from Russian universities. Some students previously studied at universities in the USA, China, France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, but decided to continue their studies in Kazakhstan. 

  - According to the results of winter and summer sessions over 11 thousand students who previously received knowledge abroad expressed a desire to transfer to Kazakhstani universities. They were accepted according to the simplified procedure for translation and are now studying in domestic higher educational institutions. These are such universities as Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Narxoz University, K.I. Satpayev KazNRTU, and other universities. I would like to note that about 15 thousand students were transferred from foreign universities to our universities last year, - said Adlet Toybaev, director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  Note that in connection with the increase in the number of students, mechanisms have been developed to accelerate the pace of construction of new and reconstruction of existing dormitories. By the end of this year, 37 new student dormitories will be commissioned in the country.
