In 2021 the number of educational grants will increase by 5 thousand

   ALMATY. June 15. Press center – The number of educational grants will increase by 5 thousand in 2021. The Minister of Education and Science Askhat Aimagambetov announced it today at the site of the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan.

  «For the next academic year, 51,561 grants have been allocated for the undergraduate program, including the Serpins program. Also within the framework of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Nur Otan party's election program, another 5,000 grants are envisaged. The total number of grants under the bachelor's program is 56,561 grants, 13,263 grants under master's program and 1,890 grants under doctoral programs. Grants for training of personnel are distributed on necessary directions», – noted the head of department.

  In addition, Askhat Aymagambetov noted that to increase the availability of higher education until 2025, the number of grants will increase by 50%. It should be noted that annually 1000 grants are allocated to young scientists. Moreover, 500 Kazakh scientists will be sent for training to famous world scientific centers within the «Bolashak» program.
