      How are «Bolashak» scholarships awarded?

      ALMATY. June 3. Press center – How is the Bolashak Scholarship awarded? How the competitive selection is conducted? To answer these and other questions, President of JSC «Center for International Programs» Aynur Karibozova will hold a meeting with the staff and students of Women's University on June 7 at 12:00.

      During the briefing on the theme «Bolashak»: new opportunities in the leading universities and research centers of the world will be presented important information about scientific internships for master's and doctoral studies.

      In addition, during the visit a memorandum of cooperation between the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and the JSC «Center for International Programs» will be signed.

      The cooperation will include activities on mutual exchange of information, issues related to employment of Bolashak International Scholarship graduates, publication of vacancy announcements in social networks and news feeds of both sides, consulting on staffing issues and finding ways to solve them.

      It is worth noting that 1,055 scholarships were awarded under the Bolashak program in 2021. Of these, 385 scholarships were awarded for the master's program. For doctoral and residency programs, 60 scholarships are allocated.

      In addition, 110 scholarships are available for internships for teachers, civil servants, medical professionals, engineers and technicians.

      500 scholarships will be available for Kazakhstani scientists to intern at the world's leading research centers.

      Scholarship candidates are offered 80 majors for academic training and 137 majors for internships.
