Scientist of Women University – winner of the contest of grant projects

   ALMATY. May 26. Press center – Anar Kaliyeva, Candidate of Medical Sciences, I.O. Associate of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, became the winner of the republican competition for grant financing.

  The project «Agrimonia asiatica Juz. is used as a pharmacological raw material in Kazakhstan and the effectiveness of flavonoids tannins of plant» is recognized as the best.

  The cost of a grant for the implementation of the project – 8 million tenge.

  – The purpose of the project-identification of the Asian Thistle (Agrimonia Asiatica Juz), meeting in the south-east of Kazakhstan  the definition of its own activity as medicinal plant raw materials and conducting phytochemical studies, recommendation for use in the future, – says Anar Kaliyeva.

  According to her, the thistle contains a surfactant complex, such as flavonoids, tanning substances, phenolic acids, essential oil, polysaccharides, amino acids, saponin and has many healing properties.

  The results of scientific research carried out within the framework of the project will be published in the journal published in the Scopus database and in peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the research materials, a monograph will be prepared, scientific seminars and participation in international conferences will be held to test the research results.

  The research results will be introduced into the educational process of the relevant subjects.
