Program «Bolashak»: the number of countries on which grants are distinguished

   ALMATY. May 21. Press center – Kazakhstan has expanded the spectrum of student learning within the framework of the Bolashak educational program for 4 countries. They included Austria, Czech Republic, Ireland and South Africa. Also added Hong Kong (China).

  Thus, now Kazakhstanis will be able to study on the Bolashak program in 27 countries.

  Recall that this year the acceptance of applications will begin on May 4 and will last until October 27. To date, Kazakhstanis received 158 appeals.

  Despite the pandemic, the center of international programs has increased the number of foreign universities, where Kazakhstanis can get an education. If last year there were 138, then in 2021-2023 : 207 universities are ready to accept Kazakhstani citizens to teach.

  At the same time, the requirements for the selection of universities are tougher. For example, a university must enter three international academic ratings.

  Changes are made and in the system award scholarships. It consists of three stages. Thus, in June 90 scholarships, in August-170

  Scholarship is allocated and in November-125 scholarships. This allows you to evenly distribute the scholarship in accordance with applications filed for this period.

  In 2021, 1055 scholars were allocated for training on the program "Bolashak". Of these, 555 are distributed under the programs of the magistracy, residency, doctoral studies and internships. Another 500 scholarships will receive domestic scientists.
