      Do you want to study in the «Bolashak» program?

      ALMATY. April 29. Press center – Acceptance of documents for the competition on the «Bolashak» program will begin May 4 and continue until October 28.

      Scholarships are awarded in three stages, in June, August and November.

      For the first time the processes of accepting documents and competitive selection for the Bolashak International Scholarship are fully automated.

      The candidate is assigned a unique code in a personal cabinet, which is used throughout the entire duration of the competition. Personal data of the applicant is also coded using a unique identification system.

      The number of qualifying stages in the competition has been reduced from six to three. Selection rounds include stages of comprehensive testing, an individual interview with members of the independent expert commission and consideration of documents at a meeting of the national commission for training abroad.

      It is worth noting that the automation of competitive selection processes is based on the experience of admission to the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.

      Changes were made to the list of foreign universities and foreign organizations, recommended for training under the «Bolashak» program. This year, the list was increased to 207 universities. In 2020, the number of universities on the list was 138.

      The list includes 207 foreign universities from 27 countries, included in three international academic rankings and included in the first row of two or more international academic rankings (QS, Times Higher Education (THE), and Academic Rankings of World Universities (ARWU).
