      Women's University Launched «Science Week»

      ALMATY. April 12. Press center – Today at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University the «Week of Science» has started.

      The event on development of scientific potential of the institution will last till April 22.

      During the Week there will be organized more than 40 meetings with the participation of scientists and applicants of foreign and local universities.

      These include international scientific conferences, competitions among young scientists, seminars and trainings, a series of lectures by foreign experts, and meetings in the Ted format.

      At the end of the week the winners were selected in the categories «Best scientist of the University», «Best young scientist of the University», “Best Institute/Higher School», «Best Department/educational program», «Future of Science. Winners of the essay contest on the topic «from the perspective of women» will be determined.

      The Week will also include a seminar for the winners of the "Startup-Tomiris" contest of innovative projects by young scientists. The goal of the traditional contest is to increase young people's creative potential, their active involvement in solution of the most important problems of the modern science, opening of creative abilities of the university students and their involvement into the innovative entrepreneurship.

      Also during the week a competition "The Best Young Scientist" will be organized. Teachers under 40 years old can take part in the university-wide competition. The competition "Best University Scientist" is open to scientists 40 years and older.

      According to the conditions of the competition the published scientific works and articles of the scientists, their participation in scientific conferences, received security papers, guiding the scientific work of students and public works will be analyzed.

      It should be noted that all the events in the framework of the «Week of Science», which started at the Women's University, will be held in online format.
