      NUR-SULTAN. April 9. Press center – To participate in the competition for the award of educational grants for pedagogical specialties increased the threshold score of the UNT to 75.

      Previously, the threshold score for admission to teacher education programs was 50. In 2021, the UNT threshold score was raised to 75 in order to admit the strongest graduates to this specialty.

      Last year, the number of holders of the «Altyn belgi» mark, who chose the profession of teaching, almost doubled. And the average score of those who entered pedagogical areas reached 90 points. This will ensure an inflow of strong personnel into the teaching profession.

      To stimulate future teachers, their scholarships were increased to 42 thousand tenge. Now the students who study the programs of pedagogical education get the highest scholarship.

      In addition, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to increase teachers' salaries twofold.
