      Opening of Language Week “Abai – the Voice of the Kazakh Soul” Held at QyzPU

      On September 24, QyzPU launched its traditional Language Week. This year, the event is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet, philosopher, and educator Abai Kunanbaev.

      The main goal of the week is to develop students’ language competence, strengthen intercultural communication skills, and promote Abai’s legacy on an international level. As part of the program, students will present creative performances in various languages, showcasing a fusion of national and global cultural values.

      The event is organized by the Institute of Philology and the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methods and Intercultural Communication.

      The opening ceremony was attended by university faculty and students, as well as Mr. Ayhan Korkmaz, Education Attaché of the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye, along with other honored guests.
