      What does this give and how to protect yourself from a fake diploma?

      Individual diplomas allow employers to assess the quality of training.

      Diplomas must indicate the university, the name of the educational program, the details of the graduate, the form of training. The diploma must be signed by the rector, who is personally responsible for it.

      Each diploma has a unique identification number created by the MES.

      According to the Law on Education, each diploma must have a security mark.

      The issuance of a diploma by a higher education institution to a person who has not studied at this institution and has not completed the educational program is the basis for revocation of the license and revocation of accreditation.

      Forgery of individual diplomas is a forgery of official documents. Article 385 of the Criminal Code provides for liability for such an act.
