On February 26, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev met with the teaching staff and students of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. During the meeting, issues of high-quality training of teaching staff, improvement of educational programs and development of the continuous pedagogical education system were discussed.

The Minister noted that the number of state grants for pedagogical specialties increases annually. According to him, this year about 48 thousand graduates graduated from higher educational institutions in pedagogical fields.

"The state pays special attention to improving the quality of teaching staff. A striking example of this is the awarding of the title "Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan" to three teachers over the past year. This demonstrates a high degree of trust in teachers on the part of the state and the President. The main task of the teacher is to give students a quality education and a decent upbringing. “I wish the students of this university to reach heights in their profession, as Ayagul Mirazova and Gulzhanar Nurpeyisova did,” said Gani Beisembayev.

The Minister also emphasized that in recent years the share of teachers engaged in scientific research has increased by 1.6 times, and the number of teachers with a master's degree has reached a record 27.9 thousand.

As part of the meeting, a photo gallery dedicated to outstanding teachers of the country was opened at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev, the rector of the university Gulmira Qanay, as well as famous teachers and graduates of QyzPU Ayagul Mirazova and Gulzhanar Nurpeyisova.

The exhibition presents portraits of teachers who have made a significant contribution to the development of domestic education. Among them - Hero of Socialist Labor, teacher of Kazakh language and literature Marzhan Tasova, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, biology teacher Alina Solovyova, as well as the first woman in the history of Kazakhstan awarded the title "Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan", Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, QyzPU graduate Ayagul Mirazova.

"This photo gallery is a sign of respect for all teachers. It is impossible to build a bright future without knowledge of the past. A teacher must have not only knowledge, but also a warm soul. Being a teacher is a great responsibility, and only those who bear it with honor can be called a real teacher. Let there be more such teachers, and the ranks of the photo gallery grow," said Ayagul Mirazova.

During the meeting, students asked the minister questions regarding support for teachers in rural areas, employment, interaction with the parent community, as well as the implementation of the "Unified Education" program. Gani Beisembayev gave detailed and specific answers to all the topics of concern to young people.

"The number of grants for pedagogical specialties is growing, but the main thing is quality. After all, your good education today is a guarantee of high-quality education for future generations," the minister emphasized.

During the meeting, a number of teachers of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University were awarded the "Veteran of Labor" medal, the "Ybyrai Altynsarin" breastplate, the "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" breastplate, the Certificate of Honor and the Letter of Gratitude from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minister Gani Beisembayev got acquainted with the new laboratories and lecture halls of the university, the scientific library named after Seraly Kaniyev and other key facilities of the educational institution.
