EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RECOGNIZED BEST
According to the results of the ranking of undergraduate educational programs of higher education institutions conducted by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Atameken», 13 educational programs of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University entered the top ten.

TOP 10 HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
According to the results of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University is among the top 10 universities in the country. In particular, the university took 7th place in the national rankings with a total of 27,811. 89 universities applied for participation in the ranking and 1939 educational programs were registered.

UNIVERSITY NOW IN INTERNATIONAL RATINGS
For the first time, the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University was included in the international rating QS 301 - 350 of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The university also ranked 29th out of 130 universities in Kazakhstan in the ARES international ranking and 25th in Webometrics. In the national institutional ranking, the university is among the top ten domestic universities and among the top 3 pedagogical universities in Kazakhstan.

4 SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS WERE FUNDED
37 scientific projects from the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University were submitted to the competition held by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2018-2020, of which 4 projects were funded. These projects are implemented in the departments of Russian language and literature, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Theory and Methods of Kazakh Linguistics.

RATING – THE RESULT OF SYSTEMATIC WORK
From 2020, the rankings among the faculties and departments of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training l University for research work are started. The results of the rating are grant funding projects, publications in indexed journals, protected documents, published monographs, winners of the title "Best Teacher of the University", startup projects, holding international and national conferences, foreign participation in scientific activities, CSR and foreign articles, other scientific publications and conference proceedings, seminars, round tables, research work of students and scientific circles.

GOT A PATENT FOR INVENTION
University scientists have received two patents for inventions. The group, headed by Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Bolat Zhiembayev, included doctoral students of the university, staff and applicants of the Kazakh National Agrarian University and the Kazakh Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable Production.

At the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University "6D060600 - Chemistry" (8D05301 - Chemistry), "6D011300 - Biology" (8D01505 - Biology), "6D011700 - Kazakh language and literature" (8D01701 - Kazakh language and literature) and "6D020500 - Philology" (Dissertation Councils for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 8D02301 - Philology) were opened.

DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE – THE MAIN TASKS OF THE UNIVERSITY
In 2020, 107 students of the university were engaged in research work. During this period, professors and teachers published about 800 scientific articles and 15 monographs in Kazakh and foreign scientific journals.

UNIVERSITY SCIENTIST RECOMMENDS WAYS TO IMPROVE ECOLOGY
University scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kelis Zhaylybay suggested ways to improve the environment. In 40-50 years, the Kazakh land will become a desert and the population will suffer from drought. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kelis Zhaylybay made such a statement. "In order to prevent such problems, it is necessary to reduce the burning of oil products and coal, and plant more trees," he said. It is also necessary to teach the subject "Ecology" from the fifth grade and hire "ecologist-gardener" in schools, says the professor.

According to the results of the competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gulmira Abdrasilova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Professor, Bakhytgul Kaskatayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Professor, Ainur Koshekova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Aigul Onalbayeva, Doctor of Philology, Acting Professor and PhD , Acting Associate Professor Aigul Syzdykbayeva was recognized as the best.

«ABAITANU» COURSE INTRODUCED
The course "Abaitanu" was introduced at the university. Today, the students of the university are taught the basics of Abai studies, the life and career of the poet. Earlier, scientists such as Zaki Akhmetov, Tursynbek Kakishov, Mekemtas Myrzakhmetovich conducted a course on Abai studies for students of the Faculty of Kazakh Philology and World Languages of the Women's University. And since last academic year it has been taught in all faculties.

TRANSFORMATION OF PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION STARTED
The Women's University has begun to transform pedagogical education. The main goal is to form the university as an academic leader in the field of pedagogy of the country. In this regard, a new model of transforming the faculties of the university into higher schools will be gradually introduced. The faculties of Pedagogy and Psychology and Physics and Mathematics were taken as experimental platforms this academic year.

COOPERATION WITH EMPLOYERS
Within the framework of academic freedom granted to higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, the Women's University has established active cooperation with employers. In particular, more than 100 employers participated in the design and improvement of educational programs of educational institutions identified the needs of the labor market and compliance with modern requirements. «DIGITAL VOLUNTEER» PROJECT STARTED
Due to the situation with the corona virus epidemic in the country, a number of measures have been taken at the university. One of them is the Digital Volunteer project. The management of the university decided to create a special group of volunteers from the best teachers of the departments in order to provide comprehensive advisory assistance to teachers in distance learning. The project "Digital Volunteer" is aimed at providing methodological and informational assistance to teachers.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT SERVICE WORKED
During the quarantine in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, university specialists provided free psychological support to support the population and prevent stress in the situation of self-isolation.

A SPECIAL CENTER WAS OPENED
The Center for the Development of Special and Inclusive Education was opened. The purpose is to provide methodological assistance to teachers working with children with disabilities in the country, to support the correction of children, to develop methodological and advisory assistance to students with disabilities.

ADMITTED TO «EL ÚMITI» ONLINE SCHOOL AS A TUTOR
50 students of the university took a special course "Online Pedagogy 2.0" on the platform "Birge oqı" and were selected as tutors for the online school "El Úmiti". During the course, future teachers mastered the terminology and basic principles of distance learning and new technologies and methods of online education. This project was initiated by the Foundation of the First President and the Academy of the President.
