ALMATY. December 25. Press center – Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University hosted an international scientific conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the famous scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Ainagul Ershina.
Domestic and foreign scientists took part in the online meeting on «Innovative development of education, science-intensive production and alternative energy sources» and discussed important issues.
In the official part of the event, Nurgali Arshabekov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the Women's University, congratulated Ainagul Ershina on her anniversary and noted the scientist's contribution to the development of domestic science.
– As a great teacher, instructive scientist, masterful organizer, you have brought up several generations and left your mark on the training of educated teachers in our country. If you start your career at the Kazakh University in November and reach today's heights, you will become a role model for your students and the younger generation. Candidate's and master's dissertations were successfully defended under your supervision. Today, these works are used for the benefit of the state. Your contribution to the development of domestic science is not the only one. More than 100 scientific works published by you. Most of the work covers the fields of integrated environmental mechanics, thermal physics and ecology. These works have made the name of the scientist known not only in the country, but also abroad, – said Nurgali Arshabekov.
«Will alternative energy sources save us from energy dependence? To what extent is it effectively used and developed?» The conference was held in 3 areas, covering such issues. In particular, the participants shared their views on the sections «GREEN ENERGY – future energy sources», «XXI century: science, society, ecology» and «Modern education: today and tomorrow».
It's worth noting that Ainagul Ershina graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training Institute in 1971 with honors. She graduated from the Kazakh State University named after Kirov.
А. Ershina has been studying wind turbines since 1995. For the last 20 years, the scientist has been working as a research supervisor and executive director of several grant-funded projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the priority area «Use of alternative energy sources». It also conducts state scientific and technical examination of scientific, scientific and technical projects.
