      The past year at our university will be remembered for the achievements of athletes studying under the educational program Physical Culture and Sport of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology in competitions of various ranks.

      As part of the University's Mission "Formation of teachers of leaders who are able to create, develop and disseminate advanced knowledge and values in the field of education for the benefit of the country and the world", our students have achieved high results at major international competitions.

      The most striking victory of the past year was the performance in January 2023 of the 4th year student Rakisheva Aisha. She became the bronze medalist of the XXXI World Winter Universiade in Lake Placid, USA from January 12 to 22 in cross-country skiing as part of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

                                                        

      Aisha is an international master of sports in cross-country skiing, a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan and one of the most promising talented young athletes among the fastest skiers in the world. In her piggy bank were: the Asian Championship in 2020, the I Winter Games "Children of Asia" and numerous victories in international ski races and in Kazakhstan. It should be noted that the dawn of his sports career came during his years of study at our university.

      In December 2023, at the International Ski Racing Competitions in Finland, Aisha became the silver medalist of the competition in the 20 km race. classic style. 72 athletes from 7 countries took part in the FIS international ski race.

      We hope Aisha will achieve even better results in the upcoming competitions!

      In 2022, the President of our country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced the holding of the Turkic Universiade in Kazakhstan at the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States. And the Universiade was a success for our athletes!

      At the International II Turkic Universiade with the participation of 7 countries, which was held in Turkestan from November 5-12, 2023, the national team of Kazakhstan became the bronze medalist!  Kaznatszhenpu athletes, as part of the national team Saidmuratkhanova Sarvinoz, Saidikarimova Muzayana, 2nd year students of OP 6B01403 – Physical culture and Sports successfully coped with the task and made a great contribution to winning the award.

                                                          

      It is necessary to note the work of the coach of the team, senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Master of Sports of the USSR in table tennis Kukharenko Alla Bronislavovna, who made an invaluable contribution on the way to the bronze medal of our team.

                                                                                        

      More than 450 student–athletes from the participating countries of the Organization of Turkic States took part in the Universiade: Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Hungary. The program of the games included 7 sports: volleyball, futsal, table tennis, chess, judo, freestyle wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling. The ceremony of handing over the flag of the Turkic Universiade to the host country of the Universiade, Kyrgyzstan, took place at the event.

                                                                                                      

      Today, the university's national teams in table tennis, futsal, swimming, athletics, boxing, basketball, volleyball, weightlifting, sambo, judo are among the best teams in international and national competitions. Students are winners in individual competition in such sports as: cross-country skiing, karate - do, kyokushin budokai karate, togyz kumalak, sambo, weightlifting.

                                                                                                     

      Not every educational institution has students who have the opportunity to participate in the Winter and Summer World University Games.

      It was a great honor for our university that our student participated in the World Summer Universiade in Chengdu, China from July 28 to August 8, 2023, where 2nd year student Saidmuratkhanova Sarvinoz played as part of the national table tennis team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      In June 2023, in Aktau, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture, the XII Summer Universiade among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan started, which was held from May 24 to June 23, 2023.

      It should be noted the successful performance of the national teams of our University in the following sports:

      • Table tennis - I place in the composition: Saidmuratkhanova Sarvinoz, Saidikarimova Muzayana, Islamova Meruert;
      • Basketball 3x3 – II place in the composition: Milana Alyoshkova, Anastasia Strelkova, Maria Sterlikova. Coach – senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
      • Boxing – II place in the composition: Rysbek Shugyla, Burabai Meruert, Irzayeva Akgul, Nazarova Nurzie, Ermukhamed Baldauren. Coach – senior lecturer, M.P. Niyazakynov Yerdos Bagdatuly.

      Swimming – III place in the composition: Rakisheva Aisha, Dauletkhan Akbota, Ibraeva Nurai, Kulbekova Aruzhan, Amangeldi Dana. The coach is a senior lecturer of the department, Master of Sports Tulapin Segrey Alexandrovich.

      Judo, Kazakh wrestling in the composition: Dauletzhan Nazerke, Aibergen Gauhar, Kenzhebek Bakytgul, Ni Kristina, Tlecteskyzy Tolkyn. Coaches – senior lecturer of the department, master of sports in Kazak kuresy Usbanov Nurlan Sultanbayevich, senior lecturer of the department, master of sports in SAMBO Tauasarova Danara Aikimbaevna.

      Athletics in the composition: Rakisheva Aisha, Abdrakhmanova Aida, Ibraeva Nurai, Kenes Gulnaz – I-III places in the individual competition. The coach is a senior lecturer of the department, master of sports in pentathlon Tulapin Segrey Alexandrovich.

      Among 55 universities, our national team took the XI place of honor in the all-team competition for women's teams.

      One of the favorites of the university's sports teams is the national football team. For several years, the national football team has been the champion of the Student League of the Republic of Kazakhstan, champions and silver medalists of the Universiades of different years.

      In 2023, on March 1-8, the National Student Games, the Southeastern Zone, were held, where our team took the I-place.

      On April 10-15, 2023, the National Student Football League of the Republic of Kazakhstan took the II place in the final in Astana.

      For the first time, Kuztai Aidana, a student of our university, is a master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a 4th–year student, specialty Physical Culture and Sports, plays as part of the Juventus team, which took the third place in the Champions League Cup in Germany in 2023.

      The composition of the football team: Abulkhasenova Nazerke, Akmalova Malika, Ayypkhan Merey, Azamatova Aelita, Bagdauletova Maharat, Uzakbayeva Karlygash, Reglasova Anna, Ibraeva Nurai, Sterlikova Maria, Telemesova Sulupan, Ni Kristina, Stupina Svetlana.

      A great contribution to the achievement of the team.

                                                      

      In order to implement the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on the promotion of national sports", one of the major sporting events was held for the first time in the history of the University. Republican Tournament on the national game "Asyk ata. Bes asyk" was held in November 2023 on the basis of Kaznatszhenpu, organized by the faculty of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports together with the Federation of National Sports, as well as with the support of the Republican magazine "Sport Zhuldyzdary".

      The tournament was attended by teachers from Almaty, Shymkent, Abai, Aktobe, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, Karaganda, Mangystau, Turkestan, Ulytau regions.

      A large number of honored guests also arrived at the tournament: Mukhtar Tursynov, President of the Federation of Assik Atu Almaty; Asan Kanapiyanov, chief judge of the tournament - senior coach of Assik Atu Almaty; Marat Asanov, General Secretary, senior coach of Assik Atu Almaty; Marat Asanov, member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Kazakhstan, winner of the international Daraboz Award, winner of the "Altyn kalam", cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, editor-in-chief of the international newspaper "Qazaqstan dauiri" Yertai Aigaliuly.

                                   

      Today, our athletes are actively preparing for the Winter Universiade, which starts in February 2024.

      The University is incredibly proud of the achievements of its students and wishes them not to stop there, to continue to win new victories!
