    • Master's and doctoral students will be able to obtain a British diploma in Kazakhstan

The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and the University of Sussex are entering into a long-term strategic partnership, opening up new opportunities for Masters and Doctoral students in Kazakhstan. Representatives of the renowned British university have specially arrived in Almaty for negotiations, and the delegation from the UK was met by the Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Gulmira Qanay. The duration of the visit of the representatives will be 3 days, during which the parties will discuss the launch of double-diploma Master's and Doctoral programmes.

This strategic partnership between the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and the University of Sussex will provide students with the opportunity to obtain a British degree without leaving Kazakhstan. The dual degree programmes will allow students to earn degrees from both universities simultaneously, significantly enhancing their academic and professional prospects.

This partnership also includes the implementation of an international lateral entry programme, PGCE in Pedagogy and Practice, which will provide students with the opportunity to gain further education and qualifications in pedagogy.

One important aspect of this strategic partnership is the establishment of a centre of excellence for professors and teachers. This centre will contribute to the development of teachers' professional skills and improve the quality of education in Kazakhstan.

Recall, last summer between the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and the University of Sussex was signed a memorandum of cooperation, under which 15 teachers and doctoral students successfully completed a professional development programme in the UK.
