      QYZPU student was among the three winners at the Republic Championship in cross-country skiing

      Aisha Rakisheva broke into the top three in the 10 km classic style race at the Republic Championship in cross-country skiing. She took the 3rd place. She has two more races ahead of her: 10 km speed skating and 3km cross.  

      The Championship of the Republic on cross-country skiing among adults started on September 26 in Shchuchinsk on the basis of the Olympic Training Center. More than 130 best athletes from Almaty, Abay, Akmola, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar regions and the cities of Almaty and Astana are competing in the championship. The competition will end on September 30.

                                                                                   

      Aisha Rakisheva, a fourth-year student at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, is among the fastest female athletes in the country. She is a master of sports in cross-country skiing and a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      Aisha Rakisheva's supervisor is Aliya Yeselbaeva, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports. Her coach is Kainikamal Dyusenova.
