      A new lecturer from the USA has arrived at QYZPU

      Lakisha Edwards was welcomed by the Chair of the Board - Rector Gulmira Kanay. Edwarts will teach English to 3rd course students in the speciality "Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages". It is expected that the new teacher will start the classes in the next few days. 

      It is worth mentioning that QYZPU has been provided with a teacher from the USA by the General Consulate within the framework of the English Language Fellow Programme. The university administration cares about its students and took this progressive step, which will give results in the future. This means the parties signed an agreement and agreed to co-operate in this direction.  As part of this agreement, Lakisha Edwards received a grant from Georgetown University with financial support from the U.S. Department of State. The grant includes a stipend and covers the costs associated with the programme.

       Lakisha Edwards arrived at the university accompanied by two staff members from the U.S. General Consulate in Kazakhstan: Deputy Public Affairs Counsellor Chad Kinner and English Language Coordinator Aigul Taytelieva. During the meeting, Rector Gulmira Kanay extended hospitality to Lakisha Edwards and wished her success in her work.
