      The date of QYZPU's 80th anniversary celebration has been announced

      Women's University, which has become a "forge of teachers", will celebrate its long-awaited 80th anniversary on 7 June 2024. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Gulmira Kanay. Celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the university will already be held from September this year. In QYZPU has already started preparations for the main event. Today was held the first meeting of the special commission on preparation and holding the celebration of the 80th anniversary of QYZPU. 

      Let's remind, the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical Institute was formed by the resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the Kazakh SSR on 15 August 1944. The opening of the Institute was supported by the intelligentsia of the country, artists and educators led by Kanysh Satpayev, Mukhtar Auezov, Sabit Mukanov, Gabit Musrepov, Ilyas Omarov, Nurtas Ondasynov. In the same year it was decided to admit 30 students to the faculties of Physics and Mathematics, History, Language and Literature.  By the Decree of the Ex-President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev dated 25 December 2018, the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University was granted the status of "National".
