      Cooperation with Yasawi University

      Today, the members of the Board of the Kazakh-Turkish University named Ahmet Yasawi visited Kazakh national women's teacher training university for a meeting.

      According to the document, «Prospects of the Turkic World-2040» which approved at the initiative of the heads of the Turkic world contributes to strengthening relations between the countries in the field of education and science.

                                                                                        

      As the President of Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev mentioned: «This document will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening relations between our countries and strengthening the stability belt. Therefore, there is every reason to believe that our cooperation has a great future», and today's meeting between Kazakh national women's teacher training university and the K. A. Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University is a vivid example of this.

      During the meeting between the two universities, the Chairman of the Plenipotentiary Council of the International Kazakh-Turkish University,                      Mr. Mukhittin Shimshek, noted that it is very important for the Turkic peoples that girls and women receive education, and currently this task is being successfully implemented by Kazakh national women's teacher training university and continues from generation to generation.

      The issues of writing joint projects and research papers were discussed at the meeting, it was also mentioned that 500 important books of Turkey are being translated at Yasawi University, of which 100 books will be transferred to our university.

                                                                                       

      Chairman of the Managing Board – Rector -  Gulmira Qanay, in turn, expressed her proposal to study the experience of Turkey by conducting joint research in the field of inclusive education, which is currently an urgent problem, including in connection with autism. The Turkish side also accepted this proposal and announced that it would begin work on these issues in the near future.

      In addition, students who are studying Turkish were invited to language courses created at the Eurasian Research Institute.

      Both sides presented gifts to each other as a symbol of the meeting and expressed confidence that the partnership between the two universities will only strengthen and increase.
