      ALMATY. 30 MAY. PRESS CENTER - According to the results of the 2021-2022 academic year of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, a group of university teachers was awarded letters of appreciation by the rector for their contribution to the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of morality and patriotism.

      If anyone knows about the work of an adviser now, some do not yet understand the role of this specialist. An adviser is a teacher who assists students in mastering an educational program while they are enrolled. Their number depends on the number of students in the department. Each adviser is assigned a certain number of students (at least 15 students). During the academic year, they work according to their advising schedule. In case of urgent academic issues, the Adviser may also provide individual counseling outside of his or her schedule. The schedule is developed by the department under the work plan for the academic year and is approved by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.

      Advisor Responsibilities:

      • Help determine the student's skill level and mastery of the educational program;
      • Determine the needs, interests, and abilities of the student in the choice of direction under the specialty;
      • Participate in the work of an advisory committee that deals with issues related to student performance and academic level.

      The adviser is appointed by order of the rector with the consent of the head of the department. A group of the best editors of Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, faithfully performing their duties, received a letter of thanks from the Chairman of the Board - Rector Gulmira Amirkhanovna for their contribution to the education of the younger generation and the moral and patriotic spirit.
