      Gulmira Qanay is a member of the new National Commission on Women's Affairs

      NUR-SULTAN. MAY 19. PRESS CENTER - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev issued a legal action to change the structure of the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy.

      Tokayev introduced amendments and additions to Presidential Decree No. 56 of February 1, 2006 "On the National Commission for Women Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

      According to the amendments, Aida Balayeva, deputy head of the Presidential Administration, became the chairperson of the commission. Mazhilis deputy Lazzat Ramazanova, the former chairperson of the commission, became deputy chairperson.

      The new composition of the National Commission, which included the rector of QyzPU, was announced on the Akorda website.
