International symposium on Turkic world studies kicked off

  Today the International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic world has started, which promotes the dissemination of science, literature and culture of the Turkic world. The opening ceremony of the summit, which is held for the seventh consecutive year, was held on the official YouTube channel of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

  This year the event is dedicated to the theme «Writing a common Turkic history». The three-day conference will be attended by scientists from universities and research organizations in Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Bashkortostan.

  The symposium works «Al-Farabi», «Abai», «Ismail Gaspraly», «Ahmet Baitursynov», «Mustafa Shokai», «Fizuli», «Chingiz Aitmatov», «Ahmed Jevad», «Alisher Navoi», «Karabakh», «Ziya Gokalp», It will be held in the sections  «Shahriyar», «Erkin Vahidov», «Zaki Validov (Togan)», «Ganja», «Omer Seyfeddin» and «Molla Panah Vagif».

  At the opening ceremony, the rectors of the universities of these countries, who initiated the traditional meeting, made a welcoming speech and wished success to the symposium.

  The first speaker was the rector of Kazakh National Women Teacher Training University Gaukhar Aldambergenova.

  According to her, it gives a new impetus to the development of cooperation between the peoples of Kazakhstan.

  – One of the common values of the Turkic world is science. As for the history of the brotherly countries, the scientists of the Turkic world lit the light of the world science and made a significant contribution to the development of world civilization. And not only that. The Turkic world has prepared the ground for rapid development and prosperity of world art, culture and trade. Today, the International Symposium on the Study of the Turkic world is held in order to preserve the golden thread from ancestor to child and further strengthen scientific cooperation between the same name and common roots of peoples. The volume of internships, which began at the University of Omer Halisdemir in Niy, Turkey, is expanding every year. The words of teacher Ismail Gasprinsky 'Unity in language, thought, and deed – unity' are convincingly proved, – said Gauhar Aldambergenova.

  In her speech the head of the Women's University drew attention to the fact that the Turkic world is rich in unexplored heritage. It is.

  – I hope that the scientists and researchers gathered for today's meeting will contribute to the study of the rich spiritual heritage, literature and culture, history and language of the Turkic peoples, the continuation of ancestral traditions, –  said Gauhar Aldambergenova.

  Muhsin Kar, rector of Omer Halisdemir University in Niy, Turkey, asked: «What should be done for the development of Turkic peoples in the process of globalization and what are the obstacles to this?» expressed his opinion on an important issue.

  – The study of the Turkic world is a spiritual brand. We must preserve the unity and peace of the Turkic peoples in the midst of the global struggle, strengthen their unity and peace by diversifying their cooperation and refrain from atrocities, massacres and cultural genocide committed against the Turkic peoples in history. One opinion is better than a thousand opinions. We aim to become an active force that generates information that can turn this information into a product with global power, – Muhsin Kar said.

  Nazim Huseynli, Rector of Baku Eurasian University in Azerbaijan, expressed confidence that the Seventh Symposium will bring new ideas, valuable ideas and new scientific concepts to all brotherly nations working together to become a beacon for the Turkic world.

  The opening ceremony of the Symposium was followed by an online concert of university artists.
