QyzPU held a debate tournament «DOSTYQ CUP VII»

  ALMATY. APRIL 20. PRESS CENTER –  Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University organized the annual national debate tournament «DOSTYQ CUP VII». The tournament was held under the title «Bilimdi bala - zharqyn bolashaq kepili».

  On April 17 this year QyzPU held the first tournament of the 2 annual debate competition «DOSTYQ CUP VII». It should be noted that Women's University holds "DOSTYQ CUP" and «QYZPU CUP» competitions for debaters every year.

  In this context, topics related to the Year of Children were discussed. In addition to political topics, debaters, whose main topic was Harry Potter, competed in APF and LD formats.

  The long-awaited DOSTYQ CUP tournament, which hasn't been held in 3 consecutive years because of the pandemic, differs from the university's competition in that each fraction must have a QyzPU member in the mix.

  There were 36 fractions competing in the 2022 tournament, including participants from the cities of Shymkent, Taraz, and Turkestan. Representatives of Almaty Technical University, Narkhoz University, Suleyman Demirel University, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev took part in the competition.

  Winners of the contest took 1,2,3 places and nominations «Uzdik talpinis» in APF format, and in LD format – «En uzdik spiker», «Uzdik spiker». The participants also received nominations «Uzdik Potterman», «En uzdik toreshi», «En uzdik frakcia» and were awarded with cash prizes and books from sponsors.
