      QyzPU volleyball team won the award

      ALMATY. April 5. PRESS CENTER - The Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University volleyball team placed second in the Southeast Division of the National Student League qualifying round.

      A total of 12 volleyball teams participated in the division games, which took place from March 31 through April 1. QyzPU team of 10 girls showed a persistent game and reached the final.

      Under the guidance of the coach Master of Sports of Kazakhstan Saule Nurpeisova volleyball team in February, the team began training at the University base. A few months before the games of the League university teams regularly held friendly matches.

      The volleyball team consists of athletes from 1st to 4th-year students. Among them are students who have won significant victories in volleyball. In particular, Kugamanova Yeldana and Abdrakhmanova Saltanat take prizes at the annual beach volleyball and snow volleyball championships.

      - Our team regularly shows good results among higher educational institutions. Even team members from other universities want to train with us. Even team members from other universities want to practice with us. If the university offered discounts for athletes, the number of prospective students would increase. We have a lot of plans ahead of us, – said the coach of the team.

      The final round of the National Student League is scheduled for April 18 in Oskemen. Besides, volleyball players are preparing to defend the honor of QyzPU in beach volleyball and classical volleyball at the Universiade 2023.
