Members of the QYZPU Debate Club won the PRIZE OF THE REPUBLIC Tournament

  ALMATY. APRIL 4. PRESS CENTER – Togzhan Amirbekovna and Zhanerke Yerzhanovna members of the Debate Club of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University took first place in the Republican Tournament of Young Debaters «Iсe scream VIII».

  120 speakers from 60 factions from Almaty, Shymkent, Taraz, Aktobe and other cities took part in the competition organized by the Higher School of Debate of the Union of Economists of Almaty on April 2-3. Six teams from the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University competed. There are 2 speakers in each team. In the selection take part 60 factions in 4 games, debates on 4 resolutions. The 32 teams with the best scores qualify for the playoffs. And only two teams compete in the finals.

  The participants discussed various political and social issues, such as an effective mechanism for propaganda of Kazakh khans and batyrs, an end to speculation in the housing market, the exit of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the EEU, an assessment of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, and an effective mechanism for reforming the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

  The speakers of our team, Togzhan Amirbekovna and Zhanerke Yerzhanovna, are second-year university students, majoring in Psychology and Chemistry.
