Theme: A comparative study of administrative time and social factors influences on the psychophysiology and level of academic performance of schoolchildren
Аnnotation: The territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is actually located in four different geographical time zones (UTC+6, UTC+5, UTC+4, UTC+3). But since time in our country is regulated by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan [3], two-hour standard time is applied - UTC+5 and UTC+6. Thus, in the 5th time zone, UTC+6 time is used, and in the 4th time zone, UTC+5 time is used, with the exception of the Kostanay region. If you look at it geographically, in the Kostanay region administrative time is two hours ahead compared to astronomical time. It is known that almost all regions belonging to the 4th time zone are located in the 5th time zone, with only the Kostanay region remaining. Undoubtedly, administrative time in Kostanay region is two hours ahead of the geographic time zone, which creates inconvenience for learners attending school early. As an example, let's assume that for a lesson that starts at 8 o'clock in the morning in Kostanay, the student wakes up at 6 o'clock 30 minutes, and given that the actual geographical time is 4 hours 30 minutes, the level of harm to the child's health is undeniable. The Kyzylorda region, located in the same geographical zone as Kostanay, but in 2018, thanks to activists of the local community, moved closer to its geographical time (UTC+5).
It is also known that when deviating from one’s geographical zone, a number of changes occur in the human body that are detrimental to one’s health. The psychophysiological state of teenagers is especially alarming. Currently, the lag of social time from geographical occurs along with the Kostanay region in the western regions of Kazakhstan. In particular, we believe that for residents of the western regions of Atyrau, Aktau, and Ural regions there is a different effect. For example, in the border settlements of Russia, the time zone is UTC+3, in the border settlements of the Atyrau and Ural regions, the time zone is UTC+5. Recently, the emergence of social tension, deterioration of interpersonal relationships, decline in school performance, and an increase in suicide cases are much more common in the above-mentioned areas, especially among adolescents [4-9].
At meetings of the government working group on the use of the time zone in Kazakhstan, there were also repeatedly proposals to conduct research work. Considering that this issue is at the intersection of astronomy, geography, biology and medicine, we believe that public health is important in ensuring the future of young people, including in the prevention of various chronic diseases.
In this context, we believe that an in-depth study of the level of health of the population of a settlement, including schoolchildren, with the incorrect use of the natural time zone is one of the pressing problems for our country.Purpose of the project: Studying the influence of day regime, schedule, workload and administrative time factors on the psychophysiological state, the result of chronic desynchrosis, performance in the educational process of high school students in Atyrau, Kostanay, East-Kazakhstan regions, to propose reduce them in case of detection of negative effects
Tasks:
1) Indicators of health, academic performance and psychophysiological state of high school students studying in secondary schools in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan, the quality of education and the level of stress of adolescents, depending on daily routine, schedule and workload of classes and administrative ones; identify the influence of time, study changes in the activity of the respiratory system and cardiovascular system(HRV), give a comparative assessment and suggest ways to reduce them if the influence of negative factors related to administrative time is identified; Analysis of risks associated with the health of adolescents occurring due to geographical and administrative time in the regions of Kazakhstan, social factors;
2) In the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan determining the influence of daily routine,schedule and workload and administrative time on health indicators, academic performance and psychophysiological state of schoolchildren, studying in secondary schools, the quality of education and the level of stress of adolescents, the respiratory system and the cardiovascular system (HRV)to study changes in activity give a comparative assessment and analyze the risks associated with the health of adolescents occurring due to geographical time and administrative time, social factors;
3) East Kazakhstan region determination of the influence of daily routine, schedule and workload and administrative time on health indicators, academic performance and psychophysiological the condition of high school students studying in secondary schools on the quality of education and the level of stress of adolescents, the respiratory system and the cardiovascular system (HRV)to study changes in the activity of the system,give a comparative assessment and rank data from a study of adolescent health as a result of the correspondence of geographical time and administrative time.
Technology readiness level: 3-7. Type of scientific technical activity-applied research. The short name is the study of the psycho-physiological state of students and the influence of time factors on the educational process, the result of chronic desynchronosis. The characteristic of TRL is to make a proposal to reduce the negative impact of administrative time factors. Scientific Report on research. Performance list: 1) patent applications-1 utility model patent; 2) patents to be obtained-1 utility model patent. 3) know-how. When applying, non-invasive methods, modern psychological, physiological and medical equipment and software are used to study the level of Health, psychophysiological state of children. At the stage of completion of the project, the results of international cooperation will be reflected in the introduction of high-tech methods and techniques in the study of the adolescent organism. As a result of the implementation of the project, the influence of administrative time on the health indicators of students, academic performance and psycho-physiological state, the quality of education and the level of stress in adolescents is determined, they are evaluated and recommendations are made to reduce them if the influence of negative factors on administrative time is revealed.Expected Result:
