Social Support

The university administration pays special attention to the well-being of students from various social categories. All faculties of the university regularly collect data on the number of orphaned students and students with disabilities.

Priority areas of student social protection at the university include:

Providing assistance and support to students from low-income and large families, as well as students with disabilities and orphaned students.

Creating equal conditions and ensuring barrier-free access for students with special educational needs.

Granting priority rights for accommodation in student dormitories.

Providing social and psychological support, social and medical assistance, and organizing volunteer support for all socially vulnerable groups.

100% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For holders of the “Altyn Belgi” award who scored at least 100 points on the Unified National Testing (UNT);

For prize winners of the Olympic Games, World Championships, Asian Championships, and World Summer and Winter Universiades;

For school graduates admitted to the 1st year on a fee-paying basis at “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC and winners (1st place) of subject Olympiads of the “Bilim-Innovation” International Foundation;

For children from families of employees of the “Semey Ormany” Reserve in the Abai Region who heroically lost their lives while extinguishing forest fires.

90% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For learners left without parental care, students under guardianship, and full orphans.

60% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For students with a medical expert conclusion (persons with disabilities since childhood, Group I).

55% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For students with a medical expert conclusion (persons with disabilities since childhood, Group II).

50% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For holders of the “Excellent Certificate” who scored at least 100 points on the UNT;

For students with a medical expert conclusion (persons with disabilities since childhood, Group III);

For members of the National Team of Kazakhstan;

For school graduates admitted to the 1st year on a fee-paying basis at “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC and winners (2nd place) of subject Olympiads of the “Bilim-Innovation” International Foundation.

35% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For winners of international and national sports competitions holding the titles “CMS” and “MS” (Candidate for Master of Sports, Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan) — 35%.

30% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For winners of international and national sports competitions holding the titles “MS” and “CMS” (Master of Sports, Candidate for Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan) — 30%;

For school graduates admitted to the 1st year on a fee-paying basis at “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC and winners (3rd place) of subject Olympiads of the “Bilim-Innovation” International Foundation.

25% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For graduates of the Vocational Education College of “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC.

15% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For KazUQyzPU bachelor’s degree graduates continuing their studies at the master’s level;

For two children from the same family studying on a fee-paying basis at “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC (for each full-time student);

For students residing in areas affected by natural disasters;

For students whose one or both parents have disabilities.

10% TUITION DISCOUNT:

For children of employees of “KazUQyzPU” NCJSC;

For children of veterans of the Afghan War and the Great Patriotic War, as well as children of participants in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster response;

For students from large families with children under the age of 16 (with confirmation of targeted social assistance);

For students from single-parent families, upon submission of confirmation of targeted social assistance.

Only one type of tuition discount may be granted to a student at a time.
