By decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Duman Kurmangaziyevich Zhekenov has been appointed Member of the Management Board – Vice-Rector for Social Development and Student Affairs.
Duman Kurmangaziyevich holds a degree in History from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He earned his Master's degree and holds a PhD in International Relations.
From 2015 to 2026, he served at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in various leadership capacities, including Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department, Head of the Academic Mobility Division, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs and International Relations, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, and Dean of the Faculty of International Relations.
Since March 2026, he has served as Advisor to the Chair of the Board – Rector at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
He brings over 20 years of professional experience in higher education.
