A conference will be held within the framework of «Nurpeis readings»

ALMATY. February 18. Press center – «Independent Kazakhstan: the history of creation and current problems of strengthening statehood». An international scientific-practical conference under this name is organized by the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.

The meeting will be organized in the framework of the traditional «Nurpeis readings» in honor of the laureate of the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR, academician of the National Academy of Sciences Kenes Nurpeis.

Institute of History and Foreign Languages and Sh. The meeting, chaired by the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Valikhanov, will be held in 5 areas, during which well-known domestic and foreign scientists will make presentations.

Kenes Nurpeis is the author of about 500 scientific publications and more than 20 monographs. His researches were devoted to the history of the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people in 1916, two revolutions in 1917 and civil conflicts in 1918-1920, the history of nation-building in the twentieth century, political repressions and socio-political life of Kazakhstan. The first results of the study are presented in the monograph "Alash and Alashorda", which was highly praised by the scientific community. Under his supervision, more than 10 doctoral and about 50 candidate dissertations were defended.
